Most of you are aware that Walter has a terminal rare genetic condition called Mucopolysaccharidosis VI ( MPS VI) but more do not know what it is like to live everyday knowing that that fateful heart breaking day will come when Walter leaves this earth. Every day I cry because I can not imagine life without him. When I am with him I stay happy because he gets upset when I am upset but when I am away the tears start to fall. I unhealthily live in denial as much as possible because if I didnt I simply could not function. I try to ignore the fact that he has a bad heart and try not to think about it as much as possible. The one thing that helps me get through hard days is knowing that wWalter makes so many people happy and has brought awareness about this horrible disease and that we are able to help Grimmy, Pan and now Tucker. So I ask all of you to please share Walters page with everyone you can in hopes we can help many others who have dogs with MPS VI and bring joy to many lives. - Gabi ( Mommy Walnut)
