Most of you are not old enough to know who this lovely lady is. She is actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. She was born in Austria and loved the U.S. and wanted to help with the war effort. During W.W. 2 she invented a process called (Frequency Hopping) that was so secret that the government would not allow its details to be made public. They tried to use it to guide radio controlled torpedoes but the process was so advanced that they did not have much success. Before her death in Jan 2000, she was honored in 1997 for her invention which allowed something to be developed that you may have heard of, The modern Cell Phone!!!!!!
