Most of you have seen my post where I had purchased a New To Me - TopicsExpress

Most of you have seen my post where I had purchased a New To Me vehicle from Carvana and how pleased I was with everything. Well, my Carvana car buying experience just keeps getting better. First, it was by far the fastest and least stressful car purchase of my life. I had just over 2 hours and 15 minutes in the whole process. That time includes picking out the vehicle I wanted, applying for financing, getting approval, gathering required documents to email, getting an insurance quote, emailing the documents, getting notification that the contract was ready, electronically signing the contract, looking up the address for Wal-Mart Pelham, scheduling delivery, applying the quote to my insurance, driving from Jemison to the Wal-Mart in Pelham, waiting 10 minutes for the delivery truck to arrive, the driver unloading the vehicle, me taking a test drive and then signing the delivery, odometer statement and title/registration papers. On top of all that, their price was better than local dealerships for similar vehicles. Then, when getting into the car I found 2 bottle s of water and a bag that had a 16oz hot/cold cup with a straw lid and a coffee lid, a Gatorade, a Pepsi, a snack size Pringles, 2 granola bars, a bag of roasted almonds, a Slim Jim, 2 silver ink pens (they even write great) and a USB car charger with 2 jacks. The car was also full of gas, had new tires that I bet hadn’t seen more than 1 mile of travel and it was absolutely spotless. This was all wonderful so far. I loved the buying experience and thought the little extras were a great touch, but it got better. On Saturday my wife and I were out riding and ended up in Gadsden. Gas was 3.079 so we stopped to fill up before heading back. There was a $25 gas card taped to the gas cap inside the gas door. Johnnie and I were both like, “WOW!” But it got better still. I had noticed Saturday that I obviously didn’t have the title and registration papers. So, Sunday evening after dinner I gave Carvana a call since they are open 7 days until 9:00pm EST and asked about the papers. I was put on hold so Tacarra could pull up my account and check, this took about 25 seconds. Tacarra told me not to worry, that they had put a 30 day temporary tag on the car and that after 7 days if I kept the car they would complete the title and registration papers. THEN they would file them with the Alabama DMV for me and that I should expect my tag in the mail about 10 days after they call to let me know that the papers have been filed. I DON’T EVEN HAVE TO GO TO THE COURT HOUSE! LOVE IT! It took just about a whole day when we purchased my daughter’s car from a local dealership. When my wife bought her Jeep back in February it took well over 6 hours at a local dealership. Neither one gave us anything more than a tank of gas and rushed us out the door. And those were BRAND NEW vehicle purchases. As long as they are in business I will never buy another vehicle anywhere else and I definitely will never buy another new one from anywhere. carvana
