Most of you know me as a judge of hunters jumpers and eq. However for many more years than I like to say ,I was a trainer of riders and I like to think maker of horsemen and woman. Since our move to NC I have been fortunate to judge a lot of shows and teach a number of clinics throughout the country and in Canada. The most fun though is helping Dara Dresden wrap her mind around the talented horse she has and enjoy his athleticism instead of wanting to contain it all the time .Every lesson is a step forward for both of them . It may take a year it might happen next month. However it will all come together for them.and they will be showing again. Then Bobby Brewster pops up and say he wants to learn hunt seat riding on his rescue TB horses that he rides western and trail rides.We are having a lot of fun tweaking his already good horse knowledge to the dark side! I am sure his stock seat trainer is just scratching his head. However he has put such good basics on Bobby and his horses that it is making my job easier! Feeling blessed and wanted to share.
