Most people who know me know that I am of a fairly liberal mindset. I have defended equal thinking and am an advocate for equal rights, and my arguments are usually liberally based. But I am also an advocate for unbiased debate and truth seeking... Here is one fairly conservative take on Islam and Islam Extremists. I have always thought about the conflict between fighting terrorists who base their actions on a religious book, and the otherwise peaceful individuals who also base their actions on the same religious book and call themselves by the same name. It just doesnt seem as cut and dry to me as the difference between the Westboro Baptist Church, or the KKK and the rest of Christianity, although the differences can be compared. This video gives a very logical take on why we do need to talk about religion and the extremists within it. A logical take that can leave liberals like me without a guilty conscious. :) I couldnt argue with it, and I would like to hear what the person who could would have to say.
