Most probably on of my best achievements is below. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. So far in last one year, We have added at least 30 new sparrows to Hyderabad at cost of less than 1Rs per sparrow. 2. I take care of their food/nest/water/green space(for romance :)). 3. All the sparrow couple have to do is come, have good time on our jasmine/sanna jai/hibiscus/palmarine/ 40+ variaties plants/trees. 4. Produce babies thats all. Here is how it starts. ----------------------------- 1. First week they play around bushes with male making noise and collect dry grass/leaves and decorating nest to impress female (they are same over years, still the ritual is same). 2. Second week couple complete the nest decoration/preparation. 3. Third week no sounds only male is visible, female confined to nest laying/hatching eggs. 4. Forth week lots of noise couple + 3-4 chicks former busy feeding / later shouting for food. 5. When chicks are small the couple even threaten our family to go on steps(nest is next to steps and we the ones built it). thats the power of nature, when it comes to off springs even the smallest birds becomes strongest parent. 6. Sixth week after wings chicks(sorry new sparrows) fly away. Parents become young again and cycle continues. 7. For me and Banu 1,2 weeks looks most interesting when the couple sing some many duets on our branches. 8. Nature is great, isnt it?
