To become an actor or a model u first need an agent, an agent is a person or organization that will find u a job these organizations will use their equipment to make sure u get a good profile, a profile will be sent to clients who might give u an odition. 2)how do I know if an agency is good or not. Agencies acoding to me defer for instance on your big shows like your isidingo generations etc u have people called extras,people doing voice overs and your lead actors, what Ive noticed about these agencies and believe me course I work at one off the biggest studios in south africa and I will tell u now with these agencies it is most easy to get u a job as an extra on a local sopie than an odition big agencies do not bother getting u a job as an extra they will get u an odition so if an agency tells u about being an extra know that its not going to be a quick short road to stardom for u and u wont get paid much because extras get paid about R200 rands max a day and they dont always get jobs u might work this weak and not the following weak I know a girl who has bean an extra for 3 years and never got an odition, but all this depends on your agency, it helps starting with these agencies and gain experience because the big agencies will not take u unless u studied acting. 3) whats the difference between acting and modeling. First let me say modeling and acting are one and the same thing course when u are modeling u are acting both these things need u to get out of yourself and be someone else for example in order for u to be a grate actor u have to be friends with the mirror, u have to make faces practice your happy face, check how to look happy and be convincing do a this smile is better than the other kind off thing and stick with the one that sweats u, choose your angry face and stick with it even if u are really angry show that face so as to get used to it, your face is most important weather acting or modeling but it is not the only thing the way u cary yourself, think of a kid, u know when I started to work at sasani studios I had to go to where they do scandal and I met 3 actors and they were all ladies and one of them started rubing her bums against mine and she said how nice your bums feel and we started laughing course I realized this was all just an act and Ive had people talking naughty so much u would tink they are an item but u realize its just an act an actor always acts weather at home or outdoors keep acting dont stop
