Mother update. Apparently there is a lot of swelling....Swelling needs to dissipate before the op so they can stitch it all back together properly...hence the delay in operating. They are hoping the swelling has gone for Thursday and she is first on the list for Thursday in theatre. The only thing that will remove her from this list is a major incident / accident which requires all the theatre time. Feel much happier now Ive had all that explained. :)
