Motherhood for me is where my heart and soul finds complete love, it is my duty to always protect my children and ensure that caring for them is never questioned. So its a mothers natural instinct to react when the powers that be cross that line. Where is it ok to dismiss a childs feelings, and where is it ok to manipulate situations, Im asking myself these because anyone in a position of power should demonstrate encouragement and support. I learned long ago never to have expectations as they lead to disappointment, but expecting a childs feelings to be nurtured and understood by all within a schooling environment, is not a far cry. No wonder teenagers rebel, and loose total interest for their education, they are taught respect, and yet where is theirs? Bullying is a big no no regardless, and yet its the powers that be who feel that its their right to do so. What ever happened to leading by example, I guess so many basic principles in life are demonstrated by few these days, so I will continue my role as a mother based on ethics and love.
