Mothers Day is Sunday. Do something very special and go to church with your mother on Sunday. I cannot count the times I have talked with people of all walks of life who said that they had a mother or grandmother who prayed for them. There are several men of God who commented that God reached them through the prayers of a saintly mother. One of the most memorable visions of my mother that I have was when I came in too late one evening. Now I had not been in mischief, but just stayed out too late. But when I entered the room, there sat my mother on that old green vinyl couch in the family room, with a Bible open in her lap, praying out loud for me. She turned and said, Tim, I was worried about you and was praying for you tonight. There is not theological discussion that could have more grip on my soul than those few words with such force from heaven. If you have such a mother, do what I did, and draw in closer to God. Let Him work in your life and dont allow those prayers to be prayed in vain! Pastor Campbell
