"MotoGP: The Story of the World Championship at Sachsenring July 10, 2013 Sachsenring, a track with almost 90 years of history. From humble beginnings on the street circuit of the biennium 1927-1928 as part of the "Badberg Viereck Rennen", the first actual German Grand Prix (Großer Preis von Deutschland) in 1934 with the success, riding a DKW, German Otto Levy. To officially part of MotoGP Sachsenring on the track that passed at the city center, had to wait until 1961 with the first edition of the East German Grand Prix with the triumph in the premier class of Gary Hocking, to the last GP disputatosi in 1972 with the affirmation of our Giacomo Agostini.
