Motorists continue to experience significant delays due to heavy holiday traffic across the state. As at 12:45pm: On the North Coast: Northbound traffic on the Pacific Highway in Ewingsdale is queued 15km, adding about one hour and 15 minutes to the trip. Northbound traffic on the Pacific Highway in Woodburn is queued 10km, adding about 35 minutes to the trip. In the Hunter: Southbound traffic on the Pacific Highway from Heatherbrae to Hexham is queued 2km, adding about seven minutes to journeys. On the Central Coast: Southbound traffic on the M1 Pacific Motorway (F3) near the Service Centres in Warnervale is queued 13km, adding about 30 minutes to journeys. On the South Coast: Northbound traffic on the Princes Highway in Berry is queued more than 6km, adding about 40 minutes to the journey. Northbound traffic on the Princes Highway in Nowra is queued 4km, adding about 20 minutes to the journey. In the Blue Mountains: Westbound traffic is queued 1.5km on the Great Western Highway in Woodford. Motorists are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time and exercise caution. Motorists should also plan their trip, and can do so by visiting livetraffic or by calling 132 701.
