Mounties are looking for the owner of three horses that were struck by a vehicle over the weekend. Police say the horses were hit around 11 p.m. Sunday after the driver of a truck spotted them on Highway 212 just west of Beardy’s First Nation and was unable to stop in time. One of the horses was killed in the collision and the other two had to be euthanized. The five people in the truck, a man, woman and three children were not injured but the Chevy Silverado was damaged beyond repair.
