Move To Amend has re-released the excellent video via YouTube Legalize Democracy. Money in politics and the court rulings leading to the legal concept of corporate personhood is now established. The unregulated spending of corporate money in elections is now considered free speech and multinational corporations who spend vast sums on elections have the same individual rights as a person. These court findings and the law it establishes is a terminal cancer that has in effect killed what little was left of American democracy. Sixteen states have already passed resolutions calling for a constitutional convention that will add an amendment to the constitution that would bar the concept that corporations are people and money is speech. In Washington State we now have WAmend . They are now gathering signatures to put the approval of the WA resolution on the ballot in 2014 with #Initiative1329.
