Move to Action: Ray Jasper is spot on so many things. If youre interested in teaching empowerment to young people of color (and non-youth) by teaching them about the powerful people in their history and in the present, hit me up. Lets get Native, Black, Brown, Asian kids feeling pride for who they are and where theyve come from. We are the walking, talking embodiments of our ancestors will to live. We exist now because of them (thank you). I read this letter and it triggered a lot for me. Triggered all the injustice Ive seen my own family members face at the hands of the supposed justice system and the way it destroys and perverts family units... He writes a lot about why I do.
