Movie: INTERSTELLAR Rating: FULL PRICE (7/10) I liked it. I didnt love it. And I wanted to. Many may have a stronger connection to this than I had. Matthew McConaughey is one of several astronauts who have taken on the responsibility of saving mankind from their dying world. One possible solution is to find a planet suitable for colonization. The trip is perilous with wormholes and its relative dangers and complications. With a running time of almost 3 hours, a bit of it could have been trimmed. It was slow travelling to the heart of the story. I found myself confused in places and occasionally removed from my movie-appreciating space. Oddly, the culprit was not the complicated science, but the peripheral arc that had minor plot holes which gravitated me back to Earth. Some of the timeline was convenient and forced with nebulous explanations. McConaugheys performance was otherwordly, while the remaining stars (Michael Caine, John Lithgow, Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway) were universally excellent. The CGI alone is worth the price of admission. I didnt have a strong attraction to the complete product, but it was certainly a movie worth seeing. It just wasnt Stellar as I had hoped. Thats just my theory. I may be warped. Various Viewer Voices Amy: FULL PRICE (7/10) Roger: FULL PRICE (8/10)
