Movie review time!!! Just rented Enders Game, and I must say: awesome. Without a doubt the only movie Ive ever liked more than the book. Only slightly more, but more none the less. Enders Game is in the top three of my favorite books, and I am proud to admit that the movie will be in my top three favorite movies. Acting was excellent, especially considering they were almost all children actors. Harrison Ford was spot on, as per usual. Writing was good, but there was already an excellent book to go off of. A couple of things in the negative: in the beginning I wasnt so sure that I could get into it, having read the book and all. And the beginning was moving very fast and didnt touch my emotions all that well. Ill admit that I didnt like the way it was going, but the body and the climax were perfect for my liking. The romance between Petra and Ender felt a little goofy, but hey, theyre kids. Anyways, I would highly recommend watching it as it tickled my emotional cortex. Personally, I foresee me buying it.
