Moving on from mobility exercises next we will give information on pillar preparation. Your pillar consists of hips, torso and shoulders, which is the base for all movements. Pillar prep gets the muscles in these areas firing helping to protect from injury and increase performance. Following exercise can be done in early stages of warm up and is also good fun. Key Coaching Points: Feet shoulder width apart Knees slight bent. One person tries to move partners hands out of central position in different directions while he crucially tries to resist the movement. Work for 5-10secs. To make harder get partner to close their eyes.
