Moyale clashes by Abduber Hussein .B. More paramilitary police were deployed in moyale town following fresh inter-clan clashes that left unknwn number of pple dead,injured & others diplaced. Several houses were torched in the village attack that also brought business in moyale to a stand still.Speaking ön the matter governer Ukur Yatani told the media he had been informed up to 20pples had been killed in the attacks 'we are even in a crisis meeting to try & solve ths issue.There are about 20pples who have been killed in attack many others are injure, displaced and property destroyed'he added shops were being looted & houses burnt. The newly posted Dc Chedotum kamunyan said the government ws trying to contain the situation by bringing together elected leaders&other opinion leaders to dialogue & end clashes. The Dc ws moved to moyale 6 days ago after the former Dc ws forced to flee from the area following the clashes wth the communities accusing hm of taking sides in the conflict Mr.UKUR Appealed to the deputy pres William Ruto to look into ways to intervene in the crisis adding that he understood the dynamic as pastoralist.
