Mozart at the Museum – Springfield Symphony Orchestra Join us on January 17th at 6pm at the Springfield Museum of Art for Mozart at the Museum. Spend an elegant salon-style evening with Maestro Peter Stafford Wilson and select musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra as we present an intimate concert of two of Mozart’s best-loved chamber works, String Quartet No. 21 in D Major (“The Violet”) and Serenade No. 10 in B-flat major (“Gran Partita”). WDPR’s Larry Coressel joins us to re-enact Antonio Salieri’s famous monologue from the Peter Shaffer play (and later Oscar-winning movie), Amadeus. We’ll start with wine and hors d’oeuvres at 6pm, the concert begins at 7pm. Space is limited for this intimate Mozart Festival event, so be sure to get tickets for this right away. Tickets are $40 for subscribers and museum members/$50 for all others.
