Mpumalanga Black Aces striker, Thulasizwe Mbuyane, is confident that AmaZayoni will beat Orlando Pirates when the two teams meet at Mbombela Stadium tonight. The sad news though is that Mbuyane will not play against his former team because he has just recovered from an injury and is not ready to play competitive football yet. There has been reports that ‘Juju’, as Mbuyane is affectionately known in football circles, will face Pirates tonight, but Mbuyane confirmed that he would watch the game from the stands. “I only started training yesterday, so it’s too soon for me to go back to the field, so I won’t play tonight,” Mbuyane told FOOTBALL EXPERT. “I know that the fans were looking forward to seeing me playing against Pirates. I would have loved to face them as well, but I can’t take the risk of aggravating my injury. I need more time before I can play competitive football again. Mbuyane is confident that Aces will beat Pirates tonight even without him. “The guys have done well during my absence and we just scored seven goals in the last two matches, so they have what it takes to beat Pirates tonight. They just need to continue doing what they have been doing during the last couple of games and they will emerge victorious. “I will be there at the stadium to give them morale support, but I know they can do it,” concluded Mbuyane. Tonights clash commence at 19:30 from Mbombela Stadium.
