Mr. Corey Kanosh, a vibrant Member of the Paiute Tribe of Utah - TopicsExpress

Mr. Corey Kanosh, a vibrant Member of the Paiute Tribe of Utah where he was a Champion Mens Traditional Dancer & Artist was murdered by police on October 15th 2012. He tried to fight off the deputy who attempted to handcuff him for crimes that he never committed, so, they gunned him down. One of many, one of many. Over 100 million Native Americans have been murdered since the beginning of the colonization of the Turtle Island called North America. This raises the question of when self-determination and self-defense is acceptable against police who attack us without probable cause. Civil rights, and human rights, are few and far between for Indigenous peoples, and people of color when it comes to police. What makes this case different from the others across the USA: 1. No witnesses - Just Corey and Deputy Dale Josse, in the foothills just outside the boundary of a Federally Recognized Tribe. 2. No Video. 3. Just Deputy Dale Josses word against the innocently Deceased. No Justice, No Peace.
