Mr John Rivas The Philippines Honorary Consul General for the NT Dear John Mark Alpay The MCNT is hosting an information session at the MCNT Community Room from 3.30 pm on Friday afternoon 21st March 2014 from 3.30 pm of interest and benefit to migrant jobseekers. The International College of Advanced Education (ICAE) is assisting all job seekers from diverse cultural backgrounds with employment skills training and real work experience. We thought that this information session would be of interest to jobseekers in the Filipino community. The ICAE’s “Steps to Work” program is free and designed to help people secure the job that they’re really interested in; all migrant jobseekers - who are permanent residents - can join this program which assists with gaining self-confidence and acquiring the knowledge and skills required for meaningful employment. The ICAE “Steps to Work” program will be delivered twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm at the MCNT, commencing from Tuesday 25th March 2014. Please refer to the attached flyers and phone Sean Mahoney at the ICAE on 8941 5959 for more information about the “Steps to Work” program. If you know of people in your network who would like to take this opportunity (even if they are currently employed) to enhance their job-seeking skills and develop their career with the experts at ICAE, please let them know about this information session at the MCNT on this Friday afternoon. Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be provided. The MCNT and ICAE look forward to assisting migrant jobseekers. Regards, Ron Mitchell MCNT Ph: 8945 9122 Mob: 0412 314 517
