Mr President. You speak of wanting to help and do the right thing in order to reform immigration. There are already laws dealing with what you claim to be broken. If the laws of the USA were fully followed and enforced there would not be a problem. We are supposed to be a nation of laws, we need to follow them, not pick and choose which ones will be enforced. The Presidentss job are to As the head of the executive branch of the federal government, the President is responsible for ensuring that all the nation’s laws are “faithfully executed.” In other words, the President carries out the legislation enacted by Congress but cannot initiate legislation himself. He enforces the laws congress writes. He can not choose which to enforce and which to not.
