Mr. Robert Lee “Bob” Viar, age 95 of Ten Mile, Tennessee passed away at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday, October 07, 2014. Mr. Viar was a Member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Meigs County, Tennessee. He was a Member of the Southgate Masonic Lodge #569 F&AM. Mr. Viar was retired from Harriman Hosiery as a Fixer. Bob was a Loving Father, Grandfather and Friend to all in the Community where he lived. He was an avid Outdoorsman and love to Fox Hunt. Bob was also an avid Gardener who took pride in raising Garden Vegetables, He was known throughout his community for sharing with everyone. He is preceded in Death by Parents: Issac Washington & Cordella Gray Viar; Wife: Mattie Sue Viar; Brother: Arch Viar; Sisters: Vena Blufford, Ida Francis, and Elsie Thompson He is survived by: Sons: Edward Lee Viar (Velma) of Ten Mile, Tennessee Morgan Lewis Viar (Phyllis) of Ten Mile, Tennessee Daughter: Margaret Sue Taylor (William) of Jefferson County Sister: Esther White of Scherrer, Indiana 8 Grandchildren 14 Great-Grandchildren Host of Neices, Nephews, and Cousins Arrangements are as follows: Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, Family will receive Friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with Funeral to follow at 7:00pm in the Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Jackson, Rev. Neal Pillion, and Rev. Ted Clower, officiating. Concluding Services and Interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00am.
