Mr Steven was looking for a job for a long time but didnt find. He really needs a job badly to fend for himself and his family. In fact, hes ready to take any work. Fortunately, a friend of his called him that he should come and apply in a place where a watchman is needed. He went and was accepted. To test his ability of staying alert as a watchman, the boss set up a fire and instructed him not to let the fire die. To keep the fire burning, the man continued to add wood and oil. As he would have it, a nice show came up. Mr. Gabriel started watching the interesting displays from the birds on the tree. The show became so interesting and captured the full attention of this man that he forgot where he is. He focused all his attention watching those beautiful creatures, and the fire began to die. Before the boss got there, the fire had died. Mr. Gabriel opened his mouth in total dismay. The boss gave him the breaking news: SORRY MAN, YOU CANT WORK HERE, PLEASE LEAVE!! Satan has many tricks to draw our mind and heart away from Jehovah, just as those birds cost this man his job. He knows what and what that can entice imperfect humans. Hes ready to strike at any giving opportunity. If you allow him, he will take you unaware. Is your Love for Jehovah still burning? Do you still Remember when you were studying for baptism? Can you recall how zealous you were then to learn of Jehovah and dedicate your life to him and become his friend? Because of what you were learning about Jehovah then, your desire to serve him kept growing, your love for him was burning so strong! What of now? Is your love for Jehovah still burning like before, or even stronger? Has your love gone cold? If so, why? Is Jehovah still real to you? Is he still your friend? Jehovah is the best friend you could ever have. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. He never disappoint or desert his friend. Hes readily available during times of trouble. Hes that friend who will always tell you the truth that you need, when you need them. Hes a friend that keeps showing loyal love to his friends, because he is Loyal. He guides his friends. He protects them, cause he cares for his friends. He is strong, you can trust him. Why then do you no longer want to be his friend? Have you been misled? Its never too late to regain Jehovahs friendship. If you still love Jehovah, keep it up. Let your love for him continue to burn. Its you who can make it to keep burning, although you can always seek his help. How can you make your love for Jehovah to keep burning? Its by adding wood and fuel, to fuel the fire. What do we mean? Keep attending meetings, assemblies, conventions and all gatherings of Jehovahs friends regularly. Always study is word to learn more about him. Talk to those who are Jehovahs friend. Keep associating with them. Theyll always encourage you and help you, cause they love you. A good friend also use to tell others good things about his good friend. Always go out to share with people what you have learn about Jehovah. By so doing, youll be adding fuel to ginger the love you have for Jehovah. This Satans world has many things that can draw our attention away. We should never be like that Mr. Steven who lost his job because he was careless and got carried away. Jesus has a good reason for telling us to be alert and awake(Matt.24:42-44). We should not allow ourselves to be carried away with the sweet noise that is going on in the world today. We should not allow the scenes or events or shows in this godless world to steal our attention from the most important things. May your love for Jehovah keep on burning, cause your hope of having everlasting life depends on it. Continue to add adequate theocratic wood and fuel to enable the fire of your love for Jehovah to continue to burn with rage. If you truly love Jehovah, make sure nobody dent your love For him. You must love Jehovah with your whole heart, with your whole soul, and with your whole mind. Maintain the love you had at first. Jehovah first loved you. For God love you so much that he gave his only begotten son to die for you. All he asks of you is to love him in return. Remain loyal. Be faithful. Trust in him and keep his way. He will help you, you can trust him. Make it your aim today that you will revive your love for Jehovah if it is dying cold. If your love for Jehovah is still burning, dont let it go cold. Keep adding fuel. Search your heart. Ask yourself: is my love for Jehovah still burning? Do i need to make adjustment? Bro/sis, stay alert, stay awake, stand firm, KEEP YOUR LOVE FOR JEHOVAH! May Jehovah undeserved kindness be with you.
