Mr. Subhash Chandra Agrawal was one of the first people to file an RTI application. He filed an RTI on the very day the Act came into force. He holds the Guinness World Record for most letters published in the newspaper.. He also has the record for most RTI applications filed - a total of 6,000 - as per Limca Book of Records. His unrelenting efforts brought into existence the Judicial Accountability Bill, and his tireless social activism shed light upon the 2G Scam and the CWG Scam. He has contributed to the evolution of the rules and regulations relating to the RTI Act, and he has recently been appointed as Advisor to the Government of NCT of Delhi by the Lieutenant-Governor of Delhi. We, at Umeed Initiative, are proud to have collaborated with an inspirational personality such as Mr. Agrawal. We conducted an interview with him for our Course, where he goes into great detail about the intricacies of RTI Act and its procedures. He further sheds light on the practical aspects of the applications through reflections on his enormous experience. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Agrawal for his invaluable insight and immense contribution.
