Mr. Tom Kueny needs to step up and be a man and follow through with his responsibility. At this time he appears to be a keeper of security deposits regardless of the circumstances.i never moved in!! This has been going on since may of 2012 , aug 2012 i went to the conser protection agency, they sent him a letter that he was in violation of a number of state statues, he was at his fl home for the winter and opted not to deal with it. i filed a claim with courts in feb, this was dismissed because he could not be here, i then rescheduled in june of this year, didnt show for first hearing, we then went through mediation and then yet another court hearing aug 28, 2013, where i met the burden of proof and a judgement was rendered that he pay me the security plus expenses. He has until end of day today to file an appeal, i guess he plans on doing that per telcon with his attorney he indicated that his client will be filing an appeal. This means if he does file today, he will be off to his home in florida October 2013 thru June 2014., It appears mr kueny enjoys playing games.. well this is not a game to me. This has cost me as much as the deposit itself trying to pursue getting this money. this man owns a home in milwaukee and florida, plus a number of properties in the city of milwaukee. so he owes me $500 plus court costs, $98 to file summons and complaint, $60 for sheriff to serve the papers, and if we are still unable to serve papers, i had to publish for $75 in the daily reporter a legal paper, that by the way, who even reads.. The system is broke and favors landlords. what about our rights as tenants or in my case an almost tenant!!! THIS IS INSANE!! If this can happen to me it can happen to anyone, especially the poor.. Well i guess we will see if this guy does the right thing. peace
