Mrs. Kathy Fagan and the 6th and 7th graders recently participated in a baby shower for the Blessed Mother, Mary. Baby items were collected and the shower started with a prayer service, reminding all of the sacrifices and virtues of the Blessed Mother. Marys example of faith, generosity and love inspire us to persevere through lifes challenges and to put our trust and faith in God ALWAYS! The children reflected on the gifts and sacrifices of their own mothers, aunts and grandmothers and prayed for all unborn babies and their mothers. As with all baby showers, there were games, opening of gifts and refreshments. Gifts were presented at Marys statue and then delivered to Catholic Social Services in Norristown.
