Ms. Mamata Banerjee has just served an ultimatum to the people of Darjeeling that the strike must lifted in the next 72 hours otherwise strong actions would be taken against us. I want the people of Darjeeling to answer the Government. Is the strike imposed on the public or is it voluntarily? I would appeal to the people of Gorkhaland to come out in numbers to support our cause for Gorkhaland. If the Government pressurizes us the pubic must show our solidarity by observing "Janta Curfew" after 72 hours. - Bimal Gurung
