Msgr. Kelly is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Cannizzo to the position of Director of Institutional Advancement effective July 1, 2014. He thanks Patrick Donahue for his dedicated service to the Prep in that position for the past several years. Seton Hall Prep is now accepting applications for the Director of Admission & Financial Aid position starting July 1, 2014. The Director of Admission & Financial Aid is primarily responsible for attracting and maintaining a successful enrollment of a qualified and diverse student body at Seton Hall Prep. The Director oversees The Preps enrollment management initiative, facilitates all marketing programs related to potential student candidates, and manages its financial aid and scholarship programs. The Director also administers the schools entrance/placement/scholarship exams and works with the Assistant Headmaster for Academic Services to evaluate and select candidates for admission. This person is also responsible for leading tours and fielding all inquiries from potential candidates and their families, running the Freshmen for a Day Program, visiting all feeder schools and making presentations to 7th and 8th graders, running the schools Open House and Candidates Day, and for maintaining The Admission Offices presence on the schools website, amongst other responsibilities. Education: Four year degree from College or University. Professional background: Professional experience in the field of business or education. Skills/Qualifications: The Director should be a dynamic leader capable of proudly representing The Prep in communities potentially sending students to Seton Hall Prep. The Director should also be skilled at multi-tasking, comfortable with public speaking, possess experience with marketing communication strategies and materials, proficient with computer applications, has experience with database management, a high level of organization, and excellent interpersonal skills.
