Mu seems to be settling at the Poplars in Epping - not perfect, but better than I had hoped. Im going down on the weekend to see mum and to spend time with the manager on Monday on the terms and conditions of the contracts for Mums respite care and her long time accomodation. Im pasting my sister Margarets comments in after todays visit that might shed some light on how mum is going: I visited Mum briefly on my way home today, from c 11 to 12. She said that she had been sick all day yesterday by which I think she meant that she had some diarrhoea. She looked well enough and was just about to go for a haircut and blow wave. She wanted me to go when they took her so I did. She was a bit goggled eyed about the building and the lift ( hairdresser on first floor). She seemed to go well during the cut etc and talked a little with the hairdresser. The style was ok though not as good as her usual. I took her back to the secure area for lunch. I have been busy trying to comprehend the standard boilerplate contracts that I have to deal with, but looking forward to seeing mum this weekend. The plans to sell hackett are afoot. Im really hoping that she recognises me for a change - no fun going there and she doesnt know me
