"Much as I accept the right of the Egyptian people to govern themselves in a manner of their choosing, I am nonetheless saddened that an undemocratic choice was made in the effort to calm the political Impasse that arose out of the days of unprecedented protests in Egypt. Egypt, as the bible records, is one of the earliest centers of civilization for mankind and we know from history that the reason why civilization thrived in Egypt was because of the Law and Order that Egyptian leaders from Pharaoh Ramses to contemporary Egyptian heroes like Gamal Abdel Nasser and Anwar El Sadat bequeathed on their nation. I very much look forward to a restoration of Egypt as a global center of civilization founded on Law and Order. However, it is important that the people make their elected leaders reflect the will of their people. but this should not lead to an upturning of the democratic process."- Pat Utomi
