Much of the Hindu teachings these days being preached does cause a conflict in the mind because most of it is escapist and impractical in dealing with the reality of the world .Hinduism overall is not like that but its being presented by people who are Sadhu types themselves so they promote Sadhu Dharma which is only for a tiny few but not for the whole majority .T hats why so many Hindus end up becoming escapists because their whole mind is set up on moksha.They confuse maya for being an illusion so why even bother doing anything when all is illusion and all we should focus on is on Moksha becomes the mentality. Maya is really a distortion of the reality you see as everything is real which should make one more active in life once you see things more clearly .We need to take the blame for most of everything ourselves instead of blaming others for own defects and weaknesses first
