Muddy section - What Muddy section!!!! Many hands make light work. What a fantastic community we have developed, so thanks to the 22 volunteers that turned up today and gave up 2 hours to make a narrow path of bark chippings along the muddy section of our Longrun Meadow parkrun. Armed with wheelbarrows, spades and rakes we just had enough to complete the section. A specific thanks to Taunton DLO for providing the chippings and Barry Holder who got it there for us. Anyhow thanks to the following Sarah Fudge , Linda Forsyth, Barry Holder, Kevin Dunn, Ian Newsham, Tom Moore, Graham Cartwright , Kevin Willcocks, Samantha Wharton, Simon Mooney, Iain Elliott, Peter Stretton, Jason Bowie, Tim Norris, Bridget Norris, Rose Gater, Malcolm Hutchings, Colin Robins & Dave Bullock. I know I have missed 3 people but I couldnt remember all the names!!. Sorry Please make yourself known so we can thank you tomorrow. The course is wet for tomorrow but the show goes on!!. The paths by the start and the willow cathedral very puddled. We will also have to do a little detour as you run up to marshal point 2 as the corner is underwater.
