Muhammad Yunus is one of my heroes and after reading his book Banker to the Poor is when I was inspired to start my first business--a mentor venture-capital company to help people become self-reliant through self-employment in their native countries. First business was a cashmere company in Mongolia. Then an inflatable bouncer company in Western Samoa, then we put together a mentor venture capital board and eventually created the need / legitimacy for a full-fledged center of entrepreneurship at BYU-Hawaii.
