Mulder Shipyard has recently received two new orders from clients from Germany and the Netherlands. The yard signed contracts for a new Mulder Favorite 1500 and a ‘Built by Mulder: 48” Saloonboat’. With these orders, the total number of Mulder yachts under construction raised to six. Mulder Shipyard delivered a Mulder 73 Flybridge, a Mulder Favorite 1300 Convertible and a Mulder 75 Wheelhouse earlier this year. The Mulder Favorite 1500 will be the fourth Favorite 1500 being built after the reintroduction of the Favorite series. The Favorite 1300 Cabrio and the Favorite 1400 IPS have previously been delivered in the successful Favorite series. Mulder Favorite 1500 The classically lined Mulder Favorite 1500 was developed in close cooperation with Guido de Groot Design and Vripack Naval Architects. Characteristic features of the modern classic include the nearly straight bow and the sloping transom stern. The full aluminium yacht has a beautiful round-bilged hull and reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots thanks to twin Volvo Penta D6 engines of 435 hp each. The Favorite 1500 is a distinctive yacht with recognizable retro lines, designed for the entire family. She has a functional lay-out with spacious cabins, a light saloon and a large open cockpit. Obviously the 1500 provides the highest level of luxury and comfort. The glass sliding door and electrically operating sliding window provide access to the spacious aft deck. Here, three comfortable couches and a folding table allow to enjoy the memorable moments with family and friends. The all-rounder serves as a perfect day-cruiser, but is also very suitable for longer voyages. The latest Mulder Favorite 1500 will be constructed at the new yard in Zoeterwoude. The sustainable facility is developed for efficient yachtbuilding. The fourth Favorite 1500 is expected to be delivered in May 2014 and will have her berth in the north of Germany. ‘Built by Mulder: 48” Saloonboat’ The ‘Built by Mulder’ label invites clients and architects to create a design outside the Mulder gamma, but emphasizes the superior Mulder quality. One of the ‘Built by Mulder’ successes is the 77 feet steel motoryacht “Eleonore”, that attracted a great deal of interest at the Amsterdam in-water Boat Show in 2009. This yacht was built to a design by Werner Yacht Design, who is also the designer of the 48” Saloonboat. The Saloonboat measures 14.42 meters will be built of steel. The 48-foot boat will be fully equipped with floor heating and will have a beautiful classic interior of Sipo mahogany. Three large sliding windows on both sides of the saloon create a tremendous spacious feeling while cruising the Amsterdam channels. Powered by 88 hp Steyr installation, the Saloonboat “has to become the most beautiful saloon boat of Amsterdam”, thus the client. The 48” Saloonboat will be constructed at the yard in Voorschoten and will be delivered in March 2014.
