Multi- National companies please take note. BLACK FRIDAY in the UK is the last Friday before Christmas when those who have not already finished work do so, usually resulting in whole scale debauched drinking and partying to excess resulting in carnage on the streets and local hospital A&E units. It is not a huge shopping opportunity on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I think you will find that this is an American event only. If you continue to believe that the whole world is an extension of the USA I will take my custom elsewhere. I wish all Americans a Merry Christmas (not Happy Holidays) and hope they had a happy Thanksgiving.
