Multiple Sclerosis: a chronic, typically progressive disease - TopicsExpress

Multiple Sclerosis: a chronic, typically progressive disease involving damage to the sheaths of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, whose symptoms may include numbness, impairment of speech and of muscular coordination, blurred vision, and severe fatigue. I watch my husband battle with this horrible disease everyday. A roller coaster ride that never stops. There are days he cannot see, there are days he cannot walk. Everyday he is in pain, his world is pills and prayers to survive. Yet, he has a smile on his face so others dont see what I see. Never a complaint, hes grateful for everyday he has to spend with his family and friends. Hes our hero and we love him! Be thankful today and everyday that you have your health.
