Multiple people have been sending me this clip for my comment and whilst I have commented on it on various other pages I thought I would post it on my page and add my comments so those of you that are curious will get my opinion on it....... Feel free to come to your own conclusions. It is essentially a young man walking 5 German Shepherds down a street. Whilst initially many are impressed by the clip, I have concerns about the demeanor of the dogs. These dogs do not look as though they are enjoying this walk.... their heads are low as are their tails slack. It appears they are staying with him out of fear and are not enjoying the walk at all. My initial criticism of the clip was that the dogs were obviously trained using a remote training collar and that it was not used correctly, hence the excessive fear from the dogs. The young man in the clip has supposedly read all the criticism about his clip and has come out very much on the defensive saying that his dogs are just well trained...... whilst he hedges around the subject of remote training collars he does not deny using them. I would bet money that he has used an RTC on these dogs and that he has not been trained correctly in its use. It is not a case on the end justifies the means as there is no point in training dogs to walk beside you if they do so in fear. Dogs should enjoy a walk and enjoy being with you on that walk and I just dont see any enjoyment from any of these 5 dogs during this forced walk. Make up your own mind...
