Mum question:I have a 4 month old bub that Ive been EBF since birth. This has been something really important to me and has helped me to avoid post natal depression by bonding with my son and feeling like Im giving him the very best I can. Ive had awful Hayfever for the majority of his life and at the instruction of my GP have been taking Clarantyne- only to find out that i shouldnt be taking this and this could be the sole reason for my lack of milk production and for my son not putting on enough weight. Ive started supplementing his feeds with formula from a Medela Calma bottle so that I can still take some antihistamines because I cannot function without them. I just cant overcome my guilty feeling- I really want to be able to breastfeed my son, but cant get past the Hayfever/sinus symptoms. I cant help but feel selfish Does anyone have any recommendations of anything practical that I can do to assist with Hayfever? No judgement please.
