Mum question: My daughter is almost 8 months and since 4.5 months been waking up every night crying or screaming several times a night.. Shes only had a handful of good nights in the last 4 months.. For the past 3 nights, her crying lasts for up to 3 hours.. Have taken her to 4 different GPs and their answers are, gas, teething, night terror, developmental.. I give her colic medication all day (although she was not a colicky infant) I try panadol, I try feeding.. I dont give her gassy vegetables.. She is mixed fed, breast milk and formula since around 7.5 months.. And to too it up she wakes in the morning around 5 and doesnt want to go back to sleep.. When shes had a very unsettled night and not enough night sleep, shes whingy and whiny during the day and Im just absolutely exhausted and literally at my wits end with her.. If shes had a somewhat decent night sleep, shes happy and playful during the day.. Its just at night that shes so unsettled.. Its come to point where I dread night time sleep.. Scared of it even.. I hate night times! What could it be?
