Mum question:my 3 1/2 year old boy. He is the most amazing child I have seen, very intelligent and super active. Because he is very active he still need 1-2hrs nap during the day. However, he goes to childcare 2 days a week and refuses to nap there. there is only a couple of kids that nap in the class and he would much prefer to play (why wouldnt he). However, then he gets home he is so over tired he cries a lot and doesnt want to do anything ie: bath, dinner etc. I dont like seeing him so upset just due to the lack of sleep. i dont know what to do, do i try and wean him off a nap - how do i do his? im not sure how to handle it. sometimes i feel it is easier not to have him at childcare but need to due to work.
