Cameron Tillman On the Tuesday Evening Of Sept. 23, 2014, Cameron Tillman, a 14 year old high school freshman and gifted scholar-athlete and honor roll student with a 3.7 GPA was shot 4-5 times (3 times in the chest) by Sheriff Deputy Preston Norman while playing with his brother and friends in an abandoned house near his home...The police claimed that they thought Tillman had a gun in his hand when he answered the door...Witnesses including Tillmans brother stated that Tillman thought it was some of his friends playing a prank when he answered the door...Witnesses stated that the police didnt properly identify themselves when Tillman answered the door...Witnesses also stated that Tillman had no weapon of any type in his hand...WItnesses also stated that there was a toy bb gun on the table at the time of Tillmans death but not in his hand as police claimed...The sheriff deputy who shot Tillman was a Black man...The 911 caller (a white woman) who initiated the police response claimed that the boys broke into an abandoned home to try to rob it...According to several sources the boys had permission to play in the home from the homes owner...The home has been empty for almost 2 years...Tillmans brother and fellow playmates were taken to jail and held for 5 years but never charged with anything...The Louisiana State Police is currently invesitgating the case...However, Preston Norman has already returned to work assigned to desk duty... #R2c2h2Says #WeAllBeTV
