Murphys Law and a Clean Floor. Now I know you might think these - TopicsExpress

Murphys Law and a Clean Floor. Now I know you might think these two things go together but they did this morning here. Had gotten all the chores done, all animals were fed and taken care of so I could finally sit down for my breakfast - greek yogurt with blueberries, orange/cranberry toast and juice and a some cross-word puzzle work. Decide to eat in the living room so could listen to TV t(one of the all new stations hope to hear they found the missing plane), Youngster pups were still in their crates napping after their eats or chewing on toys and Kai was on her pillow napping. Got out a TV tray and put all my yummy breakfast items on it along with the cross-word puzzle and pen. As I was looking over the cross-word I opened the yogurt cup and went to set it back on the try. Now heres where good ol Murphys Law showed up (some of you may not know or believe in Murphy but believe me Murphys Law is quite real - he shows up here at least a couple times each day to say hi). To continue on, some how the tray had moved a bit and the yogurt cup missed its planned spot on the tray... instead it landed on the floor upside down sending out star burst lines of yogurt across the floor (thanks again Murphy!). As I sat there staring at my now lost yogurt thinking great that was my last blueberry and this is going to be a mess to clean up and running through my head what I would need for the clean-up (paper towel, mop, etc.) I glanced up to see 5 pair of BC eyes looking intently at the upside down yogurt cup with quick glance to me. And TA-DA a brilliant idea came to me (now I know some people that know me well will be amazed at this but once in a while my brain can work and get off a good idea). Looking at the dogs I thought why not be a good doggie mom and let the kids have some yogurt as an after breakfast treat. So I used my hands to separate the yogurt into 5 separate piles (thank heavens we had removed the carpet and put down wood floor). I let each dog one at a time out of their crate to clean up their helping of yogurt and help clean off my hands (a couple wanted to help themselves to others piles but they all listen well to leave it (thank heavens for putting in lots of early training). Finally I called Kai off her pillow and let her finish cleaning my hands and not only ;et her polish off the remaining yogurt on the floor but let her clean the cup as well. As I now sat on the couch looking at my super cleaned floor I marveled at how easy it was to clean things up with a little doggie help and as I went to the kitchen to get another yogurt I hoped the dogs werent thinking this would become the new breakfast routine BUT... Im not going to guarantee anything not with Murphys Law liking to come by for daily visits! Have a great day everyone and say hello to Murphy for me should he make a visit to you today :) :)
