Music for me is inextricably intertwined with emotional memories - false and real. Some grow over the years. This song was playing the last time I saw in person a former friend. I drove him from Berkeley back to his parents home on a school break. It wasnt until decades later that he reentered my life when he emailed me to ask for forgiveness.
