Music genres has it ethnic origins but music is made to be enjoyed by everyone regardless of race, creed, culture, religion, nationality and so on. Therefore music has no colour! So it makes no sense to make fun of people because of the music they prefer to listen to unless the music is substandard of dodgy of course. Each genre of music is just trying to convey a message of some sort. Stop calling people wannabes just because they are listening to appears to not be particular to their culture or whatever! People must learn!
