Music is the closest thing that we have right now to an actual time machine...Its unique in the nostalgic effect...in so that just hearing the opening few notes to certain songs can instantly bring you to a vivid memory from your past where you can picture exactly where you were... who you were with..how old you were...what you were wearing..what you were feeling...music is powerful like that..3 notes and ..boom.. youre back in jr high school .. awkwardly trying to make out with some awful person...or maybe you remember partying to that song with your boy who passed away...or brings you back to being in the car as a kid with your parents..whats even crazier is how certain people own songs.. no matter how long its been since youve seen a particular person or heard a particular song...as soon as that song comes on.. thats where your mind goes..to them...because they own it...sometimes for the good...sometimes for the bad...hopefully more for the good .and no matter who comes and goes in your life... that song stays with them.(for instance anytime i hear thats what friends are for..it reminds me of my grandmother from when i was a kid hanging out downstairs playing cards listening to the radio)..even if you try to change it ..you cant ..it wont work ..it refuses to work...because music is funny like that.... its kind of crazy if you think about it..its a powerful thing...and hopefully before you check out...there is a song out there that reminds someone of you #storyofoneman #isthestoryofeveryman...
