Musings of a Clueless Nature Photographer While going to pick - TopicsExpress

Musings of a Clueless Nature Photographer While going to pick up something two days ago, I walked by a small flower. She was calling me, yearning to be photographed! Sadly, my tablet was not with me. I will try and look for the tiny flower, later today. Whenever, I embark on something new. I would buy tons of books on it. I drink deep, or I dont drink at all. I am convinced that the path to mastery, lies in having the humility to be an apprentice, first. But, with nature photography, nature, will be my first master, I will buy the books later, much later. Maybe in 3 months or 6 months. Now, Im going to give myself permission to take a lot of crappy pictures, without worrying about technicalities. Fortunately, no one will be SHOT. Which reminds me of a joke a friend shared with me. He went with a group to discuss with a former Nigerian Head of State...one clueless dictator... they wanted to develop a documentary...and they explained to the dictator, that they would have to SHOOT a pilot. The Head of State, was shocked, and asked: What did he do! Why would you want to shoot a PILOT. I am just going to have fun with my new hobby. Wow. I just remembered. One of my late fathers hobbies was photography! Soon, Im going to share the pictures with you. I like about 40% of what I have taken so far. Soon. Michael Newman P.S. No pilot was shot in composing this post.
