Muskegons First Female Luge Olympian? We need to help Anna off to a strong start as she begins the pursuit of her dream of becoming a Olympic Luge Athlete! From Annas Mom Carola Anna is going out November 20 for fall training to Lake Placid. This will be a short training camp, but winter training is coming up and she will be gone most of January, February, March, and April, with Youth National Races in March. Please keep her in your prayers with all this traveling coming up and the sport of luge is notorious for injuries (her mom could use your prayers as well :)) We need to raise enough money to get through this winter season as the USOC does not support any of the junior luge teams. Her expenses include travel, daily fees for the Olympic Training Center, as well as equipment costs - she needs a helmet, suit, booties, gloves, and sled!
